IONA VISIT

Renowned for being a "thin place" in terms of the veil between heaven and earth, and a place where God feels tantalisingly close and intimate, Iona is the pefect location to reflect on our relationship with God, and to seek refreshment and renewal as we continue our spiritual journey. Our Parish visit to Iona in October 2011 encompasses four full days and will be based around St. Teresa of Avila's famous prayer Christ has no body but yours. The programme will include opportunities for worship, retreat addresses and activities. We will explore how we encounter God, how Jesus encountered the world, how our hands and feet can be sources of healing and wholeness for ourselves and for others.
