CAROLS AND CRIBS

 Dr. Judith Blezzard's  presentation, "Carols and Cribs", at the Parish Church on Sunday 23rd January at 4.30pm, in the visible and seated ground level presence of "Ted", was everything we had hoped for and more. An entertainment of real quality, humour, and considerable interest. Absorbing detail on the orgins of many of our best-loved Carols was revealed, with a number of real surprises. Prizes were awarded to audience members adjudged to have participated with the most enthusiasm  High Tea followed. A retiring collection in support of the Bridging the Gap initiative was taken and raised £327.95 plus Gift Aid tax relief to be claimed.
